Asphalt Projects

In an investigation towards the immateriality and the poetics of the everyday, we draw references to the notion of places, structures and materiality.

We work with everyday domestic objects and construction materials such as asphalt and concrete to question the balance and contradictions in body presence, gravity, materiality and time that alludes to human existence. Through the contamination of references from advertising, architecture and nature, consumption and communication are subjected to a poetic and uncanny approaches.

In the process, we develop prepositions where site and space becomes the material to cultivate a place so that man, object and environment can become a logical whole.

Our research takes form in a scale of in-situ installations, sculpture, objects and images.
