If Only We Could Let it Go
catheters, shower curtain, metal rod,
laundry net, stones, projection
Our skin is exposed to the world, our bodies remains our possession. In so far as humans are operating in space, there are frictions. The work consists of several elements in operation.
A shower curtain hangs perpendicular to the wall, suggests a reach for privacy.
Existing holes through the wall were injected with catheters tubes— breaking the surface tension between wall and space.
||At the back, a water projection stimulates an energetic motion, provding a backdrop of change that simultanously relates to the floor piece; a heap of dirty stones in an open laundry bag.
This installation explores a sense of release to meet psychology conditions admist physical boundaries.
